Vikranth, cousin brother of actor Vijay, landed in trouble during his recent  Pondicherry visit. The lanky star, who hasn’t been spotted much in Tamil films of late, is said to have parked his car in the ‘No Parking’ zone and got into a heated argument with the cops when they told him to move his car.
The ensuing argument resulted in Vikranth’s car getting ‘towed away’ to the office of the Superintendent of Police.
Vikranth, who has starred in films such as Goripalayam, had been to Pondicherry along with his family members. After reaching Puducherry, he reportedly parked his car on Nehru Veedhi in a ‘no parking’ zone. On seeing this, a traffic  police warned over mike not to park the car in the no parking zone, but Vikranth was in no mood to listen.
The police personnel  then approached him in person and asked him to move his care from the spot. Vikranth reportedly spoke in a rough manner and argued angrily with the Police. Following the heated exchanges, the police then arranged to tow Vikranth’s car to the Superintendent of Police’s Office. An enquiry was then conducted at the office with Vikranth and the traffic cops.
A penalty was imposed on Vikranth for parking his car in ‘no parking’ zone. Inspector Ravikumar told Vikranth to set an example to the members of the public as famous personalities like are noted and observed closely by their fans and others. Vikranth was warned not to repeat such mistakes in future before he was let off by the police.
